Growing up in Patiala, I was surrounded by the beauty of hand-embroidered garments worn by the women in my family—each piece a cherished heirloom, passed down through generations. It wasn’t just fabric, it was our legacy. Kainaat Uppal is born from these timeless memories and my love for the art of embroidery. A tribute to the craft, and a continuation of my family’s tradition.
Summers in Patiala
Endless visits to Adalat Bazaar with my mom, watching her pour her heart into every detail—debating over the perfect shade of dabka or the placement of embroidery. Those moments are etched in my memory: the steep staircases, the hum of karigars at work, and the final reveal of a masterpiece. With Kainaat Uppal, I’m bringing that same love for craft into our every design.
